In the computer water cooling system, the player cares most about the water block, which is the most critical position in contact with the hardware. Its quality determines whether a water cooling system can achieve its purpose.

In addition to the CPU water block, there is also a graphics card water block, which are the most common.

The jet type is the current mainstream design, with superior performance and good appearance.

The principle of the jet type is: water is quickly sprayed to the bottom of the copper plate through a narrow nozzle, increasing the local flow rate and forming a strong turbulence, thereby greatly improving the heat absorption efficiency of the water coolant. The water resistance of the jet type cold block is relatively large, which makes it have high requirements for the head of the water pump.

Here, Vansim uses a high-density copper skived heat sink made by microchannel skiving process as the heat dissipation base of the water block.

Let's analyze the production process of the CPU water cooling block:

1. The size of the copper plate at the bottom of the CPU water block is very important. If it cannot completely cover the entire surface of the CPU, it means that this heat absorber is very unsuccessful and cannot complete 100% of the heat absorption area. The bottom area of the CPU cold block needs to be at least 50X50MM, otherwise it cannot fully cover 90% of the CPUs on the market.

2. The next thing is the sink design of the water cooler. How to tell whether the sink design is good or bad? This depends on the design size of the sink, including the length and width of the sink, the spacing of the sink fins, and the size of the sink. When more fins can contact the water, the water can absorb the heat from the CPU from these fins and quickly take it away. The larger the number, the thinner the fins, and the smaller the spacing, the higher its efficiency. In simple terms, it is a disguised increase in the heat dissipation area. If the fins are spread out flat, it is equivalent to the bottom area of several CPU cold plate.

3. More importantly, the depth of the sink! Why is the depth of the sink mentioned? The depth of the water tank represents the size of the thermal resistance. The deeper the water tank, the smaller the distance between the water and the CPU. The smaller the distance, the faster the heat absorption efficiency. In other words, when the water tank is deep enough, the water can absorb the heat of the CPU faster, making the CPU cooler.

4. Finally, the inner groove design of the water cooling plate cover. The design of the inner groove indicates the efficiency of the water flow. The speed of the water flow will determine how much heat can be absorbed per unit time. The faster the CPU temperature, the lower the CPU temperature. If it is the opposite, it will cause heat accumulation inside the CPU.

5. Speaking of safety, the processing material of the water cooling head, if the CPU cold plate cover is made of acrylic, because acrylic will definitely crack after being stressed for a long time, this is the characteristic of acrylic and cannot be avoided! Therefore, choose an aluminum shell cover, and then add a blue anodizing surface treatment process, which not only has a beautiful appearance, but also can avoid material life damage.
