  • Buried Heat pipe extrusion heat sinks

The production process for buried heat pipe extrusion heat sinks:
  1. The material of heat sink base choosing: Used to be the material of AL6063.
  2. Heat Pipe Preprocessing: Clean and inspect heat pipes, and perform vacuum charging with working fluid (e.g., water).
  3. Extrusion Molding: Make a extrusion tooling to produce the extrusion profile,
  4. Cooling and Demolding: Cool the extruded part to solidify it, then remove it from the mold.
  5. Post-Processing:
    • Cut to size and shape (e.g., fin height, length).
    • CNC machining the heat pipes slots,
    • Cleaning the heat sink base combined with the pipe slots,
    • Stamping the heat pipes into the slots, The key point is to make sure the surface of the pipes be the same with the base.
    • Filling the epoxy in the gap between the heat pipes and slots, The key point is to make sure there's no air holes in the epoxy before it's been solid.
    • CNC machining the structure and surface,
    • Surface treatment (e.g., passivating treatment,  It has copper tube, So it can't to make the surface treatment of anodizing) to improve heat dissipation and corrosion resistance.
  6. Quality Inspection: Check for defects (e.g., heat pipe bonding, structural integrity) via visual inspection or thermal testing.
  7. Assembly (if needed): Attach additional components (e.g., fans, mounting brackets) based on application requirements.
  8. Final Packaging: Clean, package, and prepare for shipment.
